It’s quite a process to prepare jute for weaving. It’s not as simple as you sundry jute leaves and they magically turn into twines. Instead, jute has to go through a spinning machine specially crafted to create jute thread.
In the past, to get jute twines, spinners used a foot pedal to spin mule. But since it took time to finish, a motor spinning machine has taken place.
To prepare jute thread, a spinner carefully insert soaked jute into a machine piece by piece until he gets a length he wants. Then dry it again in the sun, roll, and get it ready for weaving process.
