Hand woven basket was my grandma’s personal belonging and attached to her everywhere for grocery shopping, for containing family’s favorite foods, and for holding foods to merit-making at a temple. At that time, no one knew why she loved using woven baskets, but it is not hard to guess that because of its durability and beauty, in which it is impossible to find in machine-made products.
In my memory, in my grandma’s basket, it contained not only tasty foods, but also her care toward the family and great memories happened every day.
